Born and raised in East Yorkshire, I spent time in the US, the South, and South West of England, before I returned to my Yorkshire roots for a short spell. I now live and write from my home in Normandy, France.

As a Doctor of Clinical Psychology, I have enjoyed a rewarding career working for cancer and palliative care charities, and the NHS. However, my dream of being an author never went away.
